clothes moths

hi
do you know if washing cloths will kill the cloth casting moths and larvae that may be on them? (in warm/cold water and then heat with the dryer)

As explained in our CLOTHING MOTH CONTROL article, it's impertative that the clothing where the moths have been seen be cleaned. This can be done by dry cleaning or washing. However, that alone will not solve the problem.

Dear Sir/Madam: I looked at your site and the section about clothing moths. It was very interesting, but there were so many options I got a bit overwhelmed. We have had a low level moth problem in our closet for at least a few months now, they've ruined a shirt and a suit jacket. Our closet is walk in and small room-sized. It is also off our bedroom so we don't want to use anything super toxic or smelly. What product or combination of products would you suggest to kill the current moths and keep new ones from showing up? Thank you.
