Thanks so much for your website. It is the most informative I have found and I have been searching for an answer for a while. We bought a home and found that when the master bedroom is closed up we got a strong smell, the longer it is closed the more the smell builds up. The odor smells a lot like the 'organic mold/odor eliminator' given to us in a spray bottle by a mold guy.

HI, if you can answer a few questions before i buy some of your sprays. we were in the market for a truck camper, we have driven 2hrs to look at one, which we liked very much. However while inside we observed hundreds, and hundreds of STINK BUGS. Well we made a deal with the owner and asked him to remove all the bugs from the camper, which he said he will do his best. I have had the camper now for a week and take out approx. 50-100 a day. can this be resolved or should i sell it. Also will the smell from them go away?

Advise for Asphalt Roofing Control of Black Streaking and Green surface Stuff Growing on 40 Year Architectural Shingles. House is in Connecticut. Regards, D.B.
If you read our ALGAE CONTROL ARTICLE, you'll learn there are many kinds of mold, fungus and algae which can live on most any structure including the roof of most any house. Once established, these molds can lead to all kinds of discolorations including black streaking. This streaking can sometimes be quite noticeable and cosmetically a nightmare to remove. And though our ALGAE MOLD MOSS KILLER SPRAY will kill the growth and prevent it from spreading, it's not 100% sure to remove the streaks that have already accumulated.

I discovered a nest of big, fuzzy bumble bees while cleaning out my garage. My garage was built in the 1930's and has a wood floor. The nest is in /under a gap between 2 boards near the outside wall. What is the best way to kill them and the nest since the floor boards cannot be moved?

do you sell a product that eliminates cicada killers in the lawn ?
they come back every year and seem to multiply.
thanks
If you read through our CICADA KILLER CONTROL article, you'll learn this pest is dormant most of the year. But as soon as the local cicada's hatch out and get active each summer, the cicada killer wasps will soon follow. As we explain in our article, the key to controlling this pest is to treat their nests with the CYPERMETHRIN we have listed in the article. You'll need to drench the nest good to kill off all the adults so make sure you know where all the nests are located. This will require a lot of material; maybe 1/2 a gallon per hole. Allow for the treatment to work by waiting 3-4 days to see if they are still around. If you're not sure where all the nests are located, you may broadcast the treatment over the top of the soil. When broadcasting, use 1 gallon for every 10×10 area. This treatment should be done now, while you're seeing them, and you should do it in the evening thus insuring most all will back at their nests when you treat.
