silverfish

Hello,
I am having a problem with silverfish. I read all your info and realize I probably have a bigger issue than I know.  That being said, the main concentration seems to be in the converted upstairs area of this 80 yo house I live in. It is surrounded on two sides by attic. I keep finding them on my bed, which lies directly under my light fixture, and I find dead ones in the glass light shade.  Im sure that is the biggest point of entry at this point. I was looking at the NiBan product you offer. It seems like the best one for my issue. I have a couple questions though if you dont mind. First, how would be the best way to apply this product?  If you have a "spreader" of some kind that you can recommend that would be a huge help. Also, do I need to use a barrier spray for the baseboard areas. small holes in the walls, like for cable tv, etc. ?   Any help in this matter, or suggestions would be really great. I have tried to find a local pest control agent to do this for me, but no one wants to do this job, they all want to sign me up for a long term contract then they say they cant guarantee the silverfish thing. What good is that?? lol   Thanks again for any help.

I want to get rid of silverfish and have two questions.
1) I was considering spreading Niban FG in a wide-open, unobstructed attic for silverfish control (I don't know how many or where they are nesting, but thought that a this treatment, together with the treatment below may take care of it).  Based on the photo, it seems like the particles are large enough that they might be spread using a Scotts hand held broadcast spreader (sold in lawn and garden centers).  Would this work or would a Dustin Mizer do a much better job (throw the particles further or more uniformly).
2) I was considering also applying an insecticide in liquid form (using a pressure sprayer) over the entire floor area of the attic (unfaced fiberglass), just slightly wetting the surface.  Can you recommend an insecticide for this purpose?
Thanks in advance.

I have what I would call a moderate problem with these bugs. But after doing MUCH reading, I'm not sure what bug they are. I was wanting to use the silverfish traps. Would these work for either pest?
I usually site about 2 bugs a day in my upstairs bathroom. Along with one a day in my bedroom. The other morning I found one (first sighting) in my kitchen (downstairs)….next to my cereal box!!!  GROSS!!!!
I'VE HAD ENOUGH NOW!
This has been ongoing for the last several months.
So, can you tell me if the traps would work for both these? Since I'm not sure WHAT I HAVE…..
Thank you.
