Will permethrin, applied with a fogger, defeat chiggers? Can Cyfluthrin be used with a fogger?

If you review our on line article on CHIGGER CONTROL, you'll see we recommend the CYFLUTHRIN to be sprayed out in the yard for chiggers. It does a great job on them and goes a long way too making it economical to apply. And though it's most commonly applied with a HOSE END SPRAYER, you can use a type of fogger to apply it. I would recommend the FM6309 which is more of a mister than a true fogger.

PERMETHRIN can be used too but it's not nearly as strong as the Cyfluthrin and won't provide the long term control. I would use Permethrin to keep the chiggers off me (repellent) rather than a spray to be used to control the infestation.
