I have a level 3 infestation and just this spring removed a 12″ swatch of grass away from the foundation, ready for pea gravel. Now I am interested in your products and see they state they are safe for pets and children once they are dry. I have a daycare and am still wary. Are you sure its safe if I use it on a Friday night and let it air out all weekend? Also I have them infested on three walls of the house and am wondering if the chemicals are residual or does it have to be direct contact? Thank you. J.
All the products listed in our CLOVER MITE CONTROL article are safe when used according to the label. There are some common sense guidelines like when to apply the products, keeping children and pets away during the application and until the product dries, etc. Our SAFETY VIDEOS cover all of this subject matter and should be viewed before doing the applications.
And yes, they all provide residual action. In other words, minute amounts of product will be left behind following the application so when they attempt to get active again they’ll pick up a lethal dose and die. If you do a thorough job, you should be able to get them under control with 2-3 treatments spaced out over their active times.
