They have spread on my car, patio, driveway and I don’t know how to get rid of them.
Red spider mites are an invasive insect that will migrate and forage anywhere food can be found. This can be in the yard, landscaping, on the home. They love to roam on most anything in the area including yard furniture and even automobiles. As our SPIDER MITE CONTROL ARTICLE explains, they forage seeking food which is algae and other microscopic plant growth.
To control the problem, you’ll need to spray the BIFEN over the entire area. A light misting is all that’s needed but expect to use 1 gallon of finished spray for every 1000 sq/ft of yard, patio and driveway.
For the car, use HOUSEPLANT INSECT KILLER. This organic formulation is in an aerosol form and safe enough to use in the home on plants. Use it on carpets where spider mites prefer to nest. If you note activity on the outside of the car, a good car washing through an automatic cleaning machine like the ones you see at gas stations will take care of them.
