wind up mouse trap

Hi, I got the trap from you, looks good, thanks. I just want to know where I should put some bait on it. I got some Trappers choice pecan paste but I don’t want to gum up the works with it.

We've got a short video on the MOUSE TRAP page which covers most everything you need to do in order to bait and make a good set. Personally I like to place a dab of the PECAN PASTE on either side of the entry ways. I also like to place a lot more distributed out with some seed in the holding reservoir so that the "pot of gold" looks too good for any mouse to pass up. The other key is placing it securely against a wall where you know they're active so they can't miss finding it when they're moving around.
