Hi there. I have a skunk or something living under my main stairs in the front yard. My wife is concerned if I use the Giant Destroyer product: 1. the animal will die, decompose and smell for a very long time. 2. the product will kill the skunk rather than allow the skunk to escape out of the hole. 3. the decomposing corpse will permeate inside the house. Comments? Your wife is dead on right. In fact, if you review our SKUNK CONTROL PRODUCTS, you won't even find GIANT DESTROYER listed. That's Read more [...]

A red cedar tree in a row of the same trees looks dead (brown). On the bark are thousands of termite boreholes with sawdust and i saw some tiny termite-like insects crawling about. According to the info I gathered, termites do not affect or kill this type of tree. I doubt that this tree can be saved, but what can be done to save the rest? Here is a picture of the tree. The holes in the photo are not from termites. Termites don't make holes like this nor do they generate sawdust. But there is a Read more [...]

Hi Jonathan, I was reading your article on the website about scorpions and I had some questions.  I live in Tucson, Arizona and since I moved into my home in March of this year, I have found 4 scorpions.  I believe they are bark scorpions.  The first one was found in April and it was about 2 inches in size, found downstairs.  The next two I found were in July (found two weeks apart) upstairs, and were tiny..definitely babies.  And I just found one this morning downstairs in the kitchen...it Read more [...]

Hi, we have had a pharoh ant problem for the last month or so.  I have done the "three prong" approach spraying with cypermethrin inside and out, spreading ant granules outside in the area where I think they may be entering the house, and putting out bait stations.  They don't seem to be lessening at all.  I even spread some delta dust outside to see if that has any effect.  The only thing I'm thinking is that the baits (which were from a box I bought last year) might be old and dried up.  Perhaps Read more [...]

Do your products work on gnats (i think they are black flies) as soon as we walk on the lawn we are swarmed by dozens and dozens of gnats aroung our heads... we live in hunterdon county in NJ and have about 2 acres of property to treat... Did you read through our GNAT CONTROL ARTICLE? There you'll see plenty of options and yeah, they all work. We had a pile of garden debris in which they have built a nest. My husband, not knowing this, removed part of the pile with his frontloader. That's when we discovered the nest. For the last 36 hr. about a doz.wasps are flying around the remaining pile. I can see no entrance or exit sites & apparently neither can the wasps. They appear confused & have not settled down. We have used your products before (carpenter ants, carpenter bees & yellowjackets) & think you are the BEST! Should Read more [...]

I order from you from time to time. I'm Bob from Colorado. I need to order some Cypermethrin from you anyway, and if it will work on these critters too, I'll just get it. The things are on a lilac branch about 1/4 inch thick to give you an idea of their size. They aren't moving so they may be dead ... we trimmed the bush a week ago and it's been laying in the sun. It's been very dry here and the lilac bush is quite old! Any idea what they are and if the Cypermethrin will work? Here is a pic. Great Read more [...]

Good  morning, I am dealing with the odor removal from several families of Raccoons that were found in a Model Home for a local builder here in Canada.  The raccoons were removed over several times of I would guess a couple of years, without any cleanup done following the removal.  The problem now is, that I have gone around the attic and found what urine and feces I could and removed it, but a lingering scent still remains in one section of the model home. What I was hoping to do was, Read more [...]

I just discovered an open, surface level tunnel in my yard. It is not under the ground like moles dig. It starts near my driveway and goes into my garden. It's about an inch wide and about 2 inches deep. What is digging in my yard and how do I stop it before it damages my lawn? I live in MO if that makes any difference. Most likely voles or shrews but even moles will dig an open tunnel when their food supply gets "high" near the top of the soil. In the summer, both worms and grubs get very high Read more [...]

Excellent write up on springtail treatment. We have bunch of them outside, and I am buying the whole set of products to get rid of them from your website. Though, we also see them in the kitchen sink. Can they live and breed in a garbage disposer? We have an older unit. How to treat that area? Also I see them in flowers pot, that is not too far from the kitchen sink. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! They can't live in the garbage disposal in general but can they migrate through the area and then Read more [...]
