I was looking at the bufen fogger for my greenhouse when I put plants inside for the fall. We have been plagued this season with white fly and mealybugs and I want to make sure they don’t breed as the plants overwinter in the greenhouse. Of course I’ll try not to put anything in the greenhouse that has bugs of any kind on it!
My question is, my greenhouse is 8 1/2 x 16 1/2 so it isn’t nearly 3000 square feet. Will the fogger be too much for that small area?
Thanks for your help and for a great web site!
I think you mean BIFEN FOGGER and you are right; it would be too much to use for such a small greenhouse. Since you have such a small area to treat, I recommend going with the organic HOUSE PLANT INSECT KILLER which you’ll see featured on our Non Toxic Pest Control site. This product won’t last as long as the Bifen but since you are treating such a small area, it should be able to handle the problem. I recommend treating twice a week for the first two weeks and then once a week there after for a month or so. This should get them under control.
