bird control needed at airport in Yemen

February 10, 2010 By Tech Support 1 Comment

Dear Sir,

We are a general contracting company and we have big hungers for our equipment and our maintenance work shop , we are suffering from birds and rats, please if you have any device that can repel birds and rats let us have you quotation CIF Sana’a air port in Yemen together with the technical data sheets.

Best regards!

Bird and rat control can be achieved in open areas like airports using some of the ULTRA SOUND DEVICES we carry. These devices send out a wide range of sound; some are made with a small range for specific targets and others are adjustable or have a fixed variable sound release which can affect a wide range of animals. Rodents can hear a high range of sound and repellers which emit higher frequencies tend to do better at keeping them away. Birds are repelled more when using lower frequencies. This means I would recommend getting units that target either birds or rats but not both for your situation.

Bird Ultra Sound devices come in many sizes and we have some that can protect up to an acre. These are well suited for large areas like an airport. The ULTRA SOUND 4S has proven to be an excellent model to use in areas like you have and is what we suggest for airports.

For rodents, the TRANSONIC USD is one of the more powerful units that specifically target mice and rats. Remember to use these in locations that have been found to be where rodent activity is most noted. These locations are usually nest sites and gateways. Generally this will be at points of entry, around doors and garage openings. Rodents will find any hole so be sure the structure is sealed tight where possible and if you limit their points of entry you’ll enjoy the best overall performance from the Ultra Sound units deployed.
