What do you recommend to remove the odor from a dead bat that cannot be removed? It has gone down a fist-sized hole behind the fire brick in my fireplace. I can spray or foam down that hole, but cannot reach down it to the carcass.
Since you know the hole where it went down, I would apply the NNZ listed in our ODOR CONTROL ARTICLE. It’s easy to use, very effective and should stop the odor immediately. If you think the bat is somewhere up in a space where a liquid might not be able to reach, use the FOAMING TOOL and inject foam to the location. This will most definitely solve the problem.
