Hello, I need a fogger for spraying for clothes moths inside my home. They are in several rooms, not closets. I have cats so the spray cannot hurt them. Please tell me what spray is best suited to get rid of these. I would like a residual effect if possible. Do any come in cans, or do I have to buy a mechanical fogger? How often should I spray and how long do the cats have to be out of the house? Thank you.
If you read through our CLOTHING MOTH CONTROL ARTICLE, you’ll see several FOGGING MACHINES are featured. The most common one used in homes is our MINI FOGGER. It accepts water based sprays and when mixed with CYFLUTHRIN and NYLAR, you can treat a large area fairly quickly.
When it comes to whole house treating, the use of a Fogging Machine is worth the cost. It will let you get better coverage, save time and save chemical consumption. Liquid spraying is Ok for limited areas but because it takes so long to do and requires more material to be applied, it’s really only good for a 1-2 room infestation.
