I have a serious question. I have a big problem with gnats in my kitchen and bathroom. they are very bad in both places. What can I get to get rid of them and keep them gone?
Gnats will many times move inside the home and their favorite place to live is in the kitchen or bathroom. These two rooms, more than most, will have a lot of moisture which is critical to the survival of the average gnat. Treating around the outside of the home can help as explained in our GNAT CONTROL ARTICLE, but once they’re inside you’ll need to do some in house pest control to keep them gone for good.
Two products which work well are the PT-565 AIR SPRAY. Designed to get most any flying pest, 565 can be used throughout the day as needed and for the average room, a short 1-2 second blast is all that you need to apply. Using Pyrethrin as the main active ingredient, 565 is safe to use around people and pets.
If you would prefer to have this treatment done automatically, get one of the AEROSOL MACHINES we have and fill it with the KONK FLYING INSECT KILLER. This is essentially the same product as the 565 but the advantage of this set up is that the machine will do the treating for you. Once you install the machine and add the Konk, you can program it to go off as desired. Usually once an hour is enough and 2-3 of these around the home will take care of any flying insect problem you might develop. You can even set them to operate only at night so you won’t know it’s being used if it only goes off when everyone is sleeping.
Lastly, our safest option would be the ORGANIC FLYING INSECT KILLER. Designed to be used inside the home safely around pets and kids, this aerosol will kill flying insects quickly but you’ll need to use it frequently. Expect to apply some 2-4 times a week till the problem is gone.

I have a major gnat problem in my kitchen and living area. What can I do to get rid of them?
Tech Support says
Go with any of the products listed above. The aerosols applied to the air will knock out the gnats on contact and if you treat frequently enough, you’ll be able to stop them from successfully multiplying and reproducing. This is the key to getting control but remember it will involve a persistent treatment regime. In most cases treating every other day for 2-3 weeks will do it. And focus your attention in the main rooms where you’ve seen them flying.
