I’ve got giant seceda killers in my flower beds and they’re freaking me out!! What can I spray that won’t hurt my flowers but will kill them? I’m afraid to get close and I need to pull some weeds and do some other work around them.
Seceda killers are large wasps which feed on cicadas. In fact, I think the right spelling is cicada killer and not seceda killer but I think I knew what you meant…
I suggest you review our online article on CICADA KILLER CONTROL which features several products that can be used to control this pest. In the article, you’ll see we list the CYPERMETHRIN EC as the stuff to use on their nest holes. It will control them quickly. If you have a lot of nests over a large area and you’re not quite sure where they are located, use the CYONARA RTS. It can be sprayed over a large area and if you spray every 4 days, you’ll eventually get them all.
