I AM INTERESTED IN BOTH THE THERMOSTAT AND HUMIDISTAT I WANT TO USE THEM TO DRY SAUSAGE IN A FREEZER,(HOME UPRIGHT)THE THERMOSTAT I WOULD LIKE IT TO REGULATE THE CYCLING OF THE FREEZER SO I CAN MAINTAIN 46 DEGREE AND THE HUMIDISTAT PLUGGED IN TO REGULATE A HUMIDIFIER (120)V TO 70 %. CAN THIS BE ACCOMPLISHED WITH YOUR PRODUCT.
We’ve had people use the TEMPVENT THERMOSTAT and TEMPVENT HUMIDISTAT for many uses above and beyond just controlling POWER VENTS. Based on where you intend on using them, I’m pretty sure they’ll serve you well. My only suggestion would be to install a HUMIDITY GUAGE so you can make sure the moisture is kept close enough to the levels you want during the curing process.
My other concern would be how you intend on getting them “inside” the freezer without causing significant cold loss (related to the installation through the freezer walls) but I’m sure you’ve got that covered. I know people who put a lot of time into various setups and have seen some ingenious installations that do a good job of sealing up the “through” ports. And take care to ensure they aren’t installed too close to anything that could affect them (like water dripping) and you should be fine.
